Heartland to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½

Heartland Community College students are guaranteed admission to Illinois Wesleyan University under the following criteria:

1. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ will guarantee the acceptance of all transferable credits earned from the HCC transfer-oriented degree program and no distinction will be made by Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ between the completion of these courses and those offered at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½.
2. Students may have to take additional prerequisite course requirements specific to certain majors.
3. Students who complete the HCC transfer-oriented degree program with a 3.0 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale and submit an official transcript from HCC are eligible for guaranteed admission.

• Musically-inclined students from all majors are encouraged to share their musical talents in our choirs and instrumental ensembles, including the Illinois Wesleyan Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Titan Band.
• A member of the nationally recognized College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers both women and men NCAA Division III sports. Titan athletics has a strong commitment to excellence in Academics, Athletics and Service to others.
• For students whose academic and athletic interests overlap, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ has a major in Kinesiology and Allied Health and minors in Coaching and Exercise Science. 
• Illinois Wesleyan students have access to a host of special opportunities and spaces including Eckley Fellowships, the Greg Yess ’82 Bloomberg Finance Lab, and numerous entrepreneurship competitions like Get Funded and Titan New Venture Challenge.
• Our transfer admissions counselor and the Registrar's Office are ready to assist you with a smooth transfer to Illinois Wesleyan.
