*Note: although BA students are welcome and encouraged to take both halves of the Survey of Western Art Music, they are required to take only one: MUS 201 (Middle Ages through the Baroque) OR MUS 202 (Classical to the present). If taking 201, students must do so in the Fall semester of their sophomore year; if taking 202, students must do so in the Spring semester of their sophomore year.
