Student Leaders, Organizations Recognized for Involvement with Do Well & Do Good Awards

April 21, 2023

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Office of Student Involvement recognized several Illinois Wesleyan students, faculty and organizations at the annual Do Well & Do Good Involvement Awards ceremony on April 10.

Sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement, the third annual ceremony is named for a quote from former Illinois Wesleyan President Minor Myers jr., “Go into the world and do well. But more importantly, go into the world and do good.â€

“It's very apparent that the students and programs nominated have had a positive impact on the community here,â€ said Assistant Director of Student Involvement, Julie Henderson. “We have countless amazing students, (student organizations) and programs at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½. I hope they all value this time to really celebrate one another and inspire each other to continue all their hard work for next year.â€

Students, faculty and their organizations gathered in Hansen Student Center to celebrate the awarded categories. Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students Karla Carney-Hall commended all nominees and recipients of the Do Well & Do Good awards for both their success in campus involvement as well as the significance of their impact.
